GA Telesis Engine Services (GATES) USA SPAH Secures UK Civil Aviation Authority (CAA), Expanding Global MRO Capabilities

September 10, 2025 – Wilmington, OH – GA Telesis Engine Services, GATES USA SPAH, a joint venture between GA Telesis and Air Transport Services Group, Inc., located in Wilmington, OH, announced today that it has received approval from the United Kingdom Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) to perform Part 145 engine repairs for operators and lessors within the region.
This new approval marks a pivotal step in GA Telesis’ global growth strategy and reinforces the strength of the GA Telesis Ecosystem™, an integrated platform of OEM aligned engine, component, and airframe lifecycle solutions serving the world’s aviation community. With this new authorization, the Wilmington facility is now able to extend its industry leading engine repair expertise, rapid turn capabilities, and cost-effective return to service solutions to the UK market, enhancing fleet reliability and operational performance for a wider global customer base.
