GA Telesis Engine Strategy Group Appoints Katy Zhao as Director of Business Development China

November 12, 2020 – Fort Lauderdale, Florida – GA Telesis, LLC (“GAT”) announces the appointment of Katy Zhao as Director of Business Development China with the Engine Strategy Group. GAT is stepping up its global presence with both talent and strategic operations as part of its Company’s Turbine Vision 2020 (“TV 2020”) strategy. Zhao is one of several industry pros recently to join the Engine Strategy Group as the scope of TV 2020 grows.

Zhao gained wide-ranging experience in the aviation jet engine business through her 20 years in China with General Electric Aviation and CFM International. She began her career as a GE Field Service Representative and later moved to the CFM leasing division. Her most recent positions included sales and services responsibility with the airlines and MROs in the South China region.

“Katy’s knowledge of the China market will ensure GAT’s continued success as it expands its service offerings to our global customer base,” said Russ Shelton, President Engine Strategy Group. “Her diverse experience in sales, finance, and customer services, along with the business relationships she has built with Chinese airlines, is a perfect match for her new position,” Shelton added.
