GA Telesis Engine Services (GATES) Announces Top-Level Promotions

Helsinki, Finland – August 2, 2016 –   GA Telesis Engine Services Ltd (“GATES”) announces three promotions to key roles within the company.

Carsten Holm has been appointed as Chief Operations Officer at GATES, where his primary role will be to drive commercial operations and increase overall productivity and customer satisfaction.  Carsten most recently served as Vice President of Technical Services at GA Telesis LLC, the parent company of GATES.  Carsten has decades of experience in airline operations, having served as Director of Engineering and subsequently Vice President of Technical at Star Air A/S prior to joining GA Telesis.  

Tommi Valtonen has been promoted to Senior Vice President of Business Operations and Development.  In his new role, Tommi’s responsibilities include developing and enhancing robust technology-led efficiencies for the company’s supply-chain and operational processes. Tommi brings over twenty years of aerospace manufacturing and MRO experience to his new role, in addition to an extensive background in engine support program management.

Sean Miller has been promoted to Vice President of Sales and Customer Service where his primary focus will continue to be new sales growth by leading GATES’ global sales team and developing new business opportunities. Sean has more than twenty-five years of aviation-related experience with a proven track record in increasing global sales for engine, aircraft, and component repair services.  Previously serving as Senior Director of Sales, Sean’s new role will include an added focus on customer-service offerings and the further development of existing business for the Helsinki-based engine overhaul and repair station.
