Industry Veteran Bosco Rico Joins GA Telesis to Lead Latin America and Caribbean Region

December 16, 2024 – Fort Lauderdale, Florida – GA Telesis, a leading global provider of integrated aviation solutions, announces that Bosco Rico, an accomplished aviation executive with extensive experience in engineering, supply chain, customer experience, and sales, has joined the company to lead the region as Vice President for the Latin America and Caribbean.

Rico brings over 25 years of experience in the aviation industry, holding key leadership roles at organizations such as JetBlue Airways, MRO Holdings, and Avianca Holdings S.A. His proven track record of leading cross-border teams and fostering high-performance cultures will drive GA Telesis’ strategic growth initiatives in this dynamic market.

Throughout his career, Rico has been recognized for his ability to implement innovative strategies that enhance operational efficiency and customer satisfaction. At MRO Holdings, Rico played a pivotal role in harmonizing the customer experience across three major maintenance organizations in North America and Latin America while negotiating multi-year agreements with top-tier airlines. At Avianca, he led a team of 300 across three hubs and managed a significant maintenance and procurement budget, delivering substantial cost savings and operational improvements.

Last week, GA Telesis announced the selection of San Salvador as the location for its new Latin America and Caribbean operations, marking a significant milestone in its regional expansion efforts.

Rico earned a Master of Business Administration from Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from California State University, Chico. Bilingual in English and Spanish, he is well-positioned to bridge cultural and operational nuances across the region.
