GA Telesis Announces Delivery of A310-300 (MSN 672) to United Airways, Bangladesh

Ft. Lauderdale, FL- – GA Telesis, LLC announced that it has delivered an A310-300 (ex-CSA) to United Airways in Bangladesh. The aircraft, owned through a partnership, with its shareholder, GPFC, was structured as a financial lease spanning five years through Singapore-based Phoenix Aircraft Leasing Pte Ltd.

Phoenix Aircraft Leasing Pte Ltd was established in the Republic of Singapore to concentrate and specialize in commercial aircraft leasing, financing, marketing, and sales in the Asian region. Phoenix has associated offices in London, Beijing, Jakarta, Bangkok, and Ho Chi Minh City providing service and information in each of these locations.

United Airways (BD) Ltd, a public limited company by shares, was founded by an expatriate airline pilot, Captain Tasbirul Ahmed Choudhury, along with a group of professionals, business people, and entrepreneurs who united together in a shared vision to develop a world-class airline in Bangladesh. United Airways Ltd. was formed in early 2005 and was issued its Air Transport Operating License (ATOL) No. 35 from the Civil Aviation Authority of Bangladesh to operate passenger and cargo service for both international and domestic sectors. The airline has been operating scheduled passenger flights on the domestic routes of Bangladesh since 10th July 2007.
