October 2007 - GA Telesis UK Achieves AS9120:2002 Certification

Bournemouth, United Kingdom - GA Telesis UK announced that it successfully passed its audit by QMI and its quality system is now certified to AS9120:2002; the highest level of organizational and quality assurance certification standard available for aerospace companies.

Based on ISO 9001, AS9120 includes additional aerospace-specific requirements that are identified within the body of the standard. “We are now the only company in our sector that maintains this level of standard at all of our distribution centers,” said David Daughters, Managing Director of GA Telesis UK.  “Our AS9120:2002 drives us to exceed industry standards and provide our customers with the highest quality service in the industry,” he added.

December 2006 - GA Telesis Achieves AS9120:2002 Certification in Addition to Maintaining its ISO 9001:2000 System

Ft. Lauderdale, FL - GA Telesis
is pleased to announce that it has successfully passed its audit by QMI and its quality system is now certified to AS9120:2002; the highest level of organizational and quality assurance certification standard available for aerospace distribution companies.

Based on ISO 9001, AS9120 includes additional aerospace-specific requirements that are identified within the body of the standard. This new standard enables organizations to easily identify where core aerospace requirements exist within ISO 9001.  AS9120 requires control of “key characteristics” as identified internally within the company or externally by a customer.  AS9120 is based on AS9100 and adds specific requirements that are relevant for stockist or pass-through distributors in the aerospace industry.  This standard is applicable for organizations that resell, distribute, and warehouse parts found in aircraft and other aerospace components.

“By ensuring that we hold ourselves to the highest standard makes certain that our customers receive only the highest quality products and services available,” said Abdol Moabery, President, & CEO of GA Telesis.  “We are constantly self-driven to exceed the industry standard to better serve our customers,” he added.
